ASAN Board Members

PattyPatti Bartsch, Ph.D., DAN is a trained naturopath for people and animals. She holds two degrees in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts and a doctorate in natural health. She has been a mammal technician, an animal nutritionist, and head of the Animal Science department at a Massachusetts high school. At present she has authored two book on natural healing to rave reviews.

Sharon MorrisSharon Morris is a trained canine behaviorist and owner of Pet Butlers, LLC. She trains both dogs and their owners in all facets of dog ownership. Endorsed by the city of Port Hueneme, California, her weekend training program is one of the most sought after for dog enthusiasts in Ventura County.

Kay LarsonDr. Kay Larson holds a diploma in Traditional Naturopathy from Kingdom College of Natural Health, and is certified through the Texas College of Chiropractic in Practical Herbal Therapy. She is also a Master's candidate in Nutrition and Medicinal Herbalism from Maryland University of Integrative Health. Dr. Larson is a practitioner of natural medicine, focusing on attaining health through drugless and noninvasive means.

DebraDr. Debra Venable-Ball holds both a PhD in human and animal naturopathy. She has been working with and studying canines, both domestic and wild, for almost forty years. She is Dean of the animal program at Kingdom College of Natural Health and author of The Bare Facts: Understanding the Chinese Crested Dog. She breeds and shows Chinese Crested Dogs, American Hairless Terriers, and Chinese Imperial Dogs under the kennel name Vanator.
